A unique and bizarre walkabout

Baba Yaga‘s House - a ramshackle old cottage, which roams the land on chicken legs, while Baba flies through the air in her giant pestle and mortar, and though she may seem scary, she might tell your fortune, in exchange for a year of your life … then again she might just eat you.

Inspired by Slavic fairytales, adapted over centuries to excite and scare children and adults alike, now awoken from her slumber, 300 years on Baba Yaga flies again.

Our amazing giant dodo puppet is available with  a range of riders;

Off with their heads!!! The Queen of Hearts is in a foul mood and will take it out on anyone who crosses her path! But her trusty steed the Dodo is just plain cuddly, and will stop for a chat and a scratch from anyone she waddles upon!

Dizzy O’Dare started their first cabaret in 2010 The Cabaret of Curiosities. The cabaret ran for 10 years to a sell out audiences at the beautiful art deco; Brook Theatre, Chatham. 

The show brought some of the finest circus, burlesque, comedy and vaudeville to Medway

Now, Dizzy O’Dare create, program, compere and perform in cabarets across the country, delivering cabarets for a wide variety of audiences;  alternative, circus, family friendly,  adult, and burlesque  working with the top entertainers in the country

Dizzy O’Dare have ran regular circus workshops for Seachange Arts, Great Yarmouth and The Brook Theatre, Chatham, as well as outreach workshops for YISP, young offenders and children living in economically challenged areas.

DOD currently offer workshops in clown, story, drama, devising, mask, puppetry, comedy and improv, balloon modelling, and ground based circus.

Digital Dizzy 

Since lockdown Dizzy O’Dare have embraced several digital projects and are keen to do more taking what they have earned to the next level

• Story Trials - a new app, which uses  GPS to trigger stories or arts based activities around medway
• Londinium Today: commissioned by the City of London to engage audiences during lockdown, DOD produced a 4 part series focusing on the history of the square mile (we also did all the editing our selves)
• The Night Crawler: story based podcast, currently 4 episodes are available and DOD are keen to produce more
• Dizzy O’Dare tutorials: a comedy series of tutorial videos aimed to entertain when stuck at home. topics included, making trousers, waxing legs and baking a pasty, or how to write a Dickens masterpiece!
• All our digital content, including this website: Yes we make all our own videos, media posts and even this website - we’ve learnt to be self sufficient

Dizzy O’Dare have produced over 20 productions
