RISE wanders into a twilight world of show business, where lovers meet against a dream-like backdrop of song, circus, cabaret and the silver screen.
Combining tightwire, live music, theatre and Dizzy O’Dare’s surreal, eclectic style, Rise is a voyeuristic journey woven through with rich and romantic imagery, a poignant series of vignettes about the complexity of relationships- beautiful, tragic, and hilarious, delivering a delightful blend of comedy and pathos.
Rise is presented by The Coasters Touring Network and is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
Directed by Emma Williams - additional material devised with Flick Ferdinando
Seeded by House Theatre and produced by SeaChange Arts.

“Whimsical, amusing, unexpected and clever. Lovely chemistry between the two performers. The story of a relationship. Falling in love, enjoying each other, taken each other for granted, discovering each other all over again. A story full of hope and laugh out loud subtle humour throughout. Recommended."
